Moving flat, should I transfer my virginmedia or cancel & resubscribe?

You always seem to get nice deals if you are a new customer.
So I wonder if I should cancel my broadband now, then sign up again when I move flat. What do you think?
At the moment I get free spotify premium through them (I'm not sure if that's an error or not, I've had it for ~2 years though and it's saving me £10/month I'd pay otherwise) and I would quite like to keep that, but I read if you move flat they do you a new contract / account etc. anyway.
Any experiences?

When I moved flat end of July I rang VM up in late May and told them I wanted to end my subscription with them. 3 weeks later I got a call asking if I wanted to stay with VM when I moved. I said no, then checked my email about a week later and there was an email from a women in retentions. She offered me a deal of £13.75 a month for 60mb cable broadband.
I was originally paying £33.75 in my old flat for the same service. So yesh suggest you are leaving them, then they will hopefully offer you a deal to stay with them.0 -
Id leave and use quidco0

I gave them a ring, they basically said I get the same deals as if I were a new customer, which aren't really that good at the moment but virginmedia are so much cheaper than anywhere else and their broadband so far has been top notch.
They don't do spotify anymore apparently. I hope my spotify keeps working when I move because I am getting it free at the moment.0
