Older gamers ?

I started playing EQ2 a couple of months ago (most of that time has been used reading information about the game.. there is a LOT of it).

There is something really tragic about (my) going to a virtual world for company and being the only person there.

I'm 41 and although normally playing COD on Xbox, I am now on GTA, and have just started DOTA2 on PC. I think DOTA might get me back to PC gaming, which I have to say I've missed.

Nothing like a 4 hour underwater stint on Silent Hunter to focus the mind!

I'm 39 an have been a gamer since Combat on my 6 switch Atari 2600 in 1981

Currently keeping very busy with GTA V on the 360

I've been a PC gamer since 1992 and recently upgraded the PC with a GTS 670 GPU and acquired Splinter Cell Blacklist and Far Cry 3, but 18 month old son and other family commitments is making getting the time to spend on far more tricky than it used to be.

what games are you looking for? i installed Need for speed 2 last month and i am playing it. if you are a gamer then you shouldn't ask question like that.

I am just playing video games from 2003 and you may categorize me in older gamers. My favorite game for that time is Super Mario. What a time I really love to play this game again still now when so many other games available.

sorry it has taken me so long to reply. We used to play on splitpaw and then decided to change servers for various reasons. Splitpaw almost died when the news of the PSS1 deal came out.

If you want to move to another server you can just srat again without transferring. The way to do this is when you are at the patcher stage look at the top left of the screen, click on the version i,e UK English and a new screen will open. Where it says game version select US english and you can then play on any of the US servers.

I am assuming that when you joined you weren't region locked. As long as you created your account with SOE you can do this. If it is with OSS! you can't unfortunately.

If you can't then I would suggest joining a guild that plays same as your game time. It may also be worth while paying to unlock the mercenariess. That will make soloing a whole lot easier. Soloing is very class dependent but persevere. It really is a fun game

I don't play them now but played Legend of Mir for a few years.
Son played too but ahs always seemed grown up for his age and nobody believed him when he said he was 13.
I still watch the kids play some games but have lost interest in playing them myself. Pretty sure ex still plays a few at 49 though.
