Atomic Floyd Warranty

I have a pair of Atomic Floyd Superdart headphones worth £200 and bought directly from Atomic Floyd via their website, after a week and change they've stopped working and so I tried to take advantage of their hefty 2-year warranty. After endless googling I arrived at the conclusion that the only method of contact they provide is by email and so, I sent a message. a few days went past with no reply so I sent another message which they replied to asking for my proof of purchase (which I then provided) and i was then given an address to return the defective product to. i asked prior to sending how long the turnaround should be for me getting a replacement set and was told that they should be in the post by the day after receiving my old pair. sent headphones to address provided having followed all instructions given and tracked the parcel which was delivered at noon last Wednesday. since this I have received no communication from Atomic Floyd and they have not responded to any of the 4/5 emails that I have sent them over the same period.
I've no idea what my next step should be, the more emails I send, the worse my tone gets which makes me feel even more unlikely to get a response.....HELP!!!

Did you pay on your credit card? If so you can make a section 75 claim against them as they are jointly liable with the seller. Phone the credit card provider and day you want to make a section 75 claim.
If you paid on debit card you could try a chargeback, but that is not guaranteed to work. I'm not sure if it applies in situations where you actually received the goods. It's worth a try though.
Before you do anything else though, are you actually certain its Atomic Floyd you have been speaking to? Did you get the email address from their website?0 -
Thanks for your quick reply frugal_mike, I didn’t expect to see any kind of feedback for now!
Yes, paid for with a debit card although-is there no kind of time limit on these S.75 Claims? And I understand your reservations about the chargeback, I feel it may constitute a fraud almost as I’ve received the goods purchased in the first instance. Although I no longer have them through reliance on the promise of the same original supplier…I’m thinking some kind of promissory estoppel is the end result I’d like as I just want the headphones back and working, I loved them during our brief relationship :’(
On a final note, I’m sure I’ve been in contact with the correct company and did source the e-mail address I’ve been using from their website.
I would like to play a game, I challenge you to find a contact number for Atomic Floyd…Dare you accept?0 -

so, to keep you all updated, i've called the number that zoob found for me in excess of 30 times since yesterday afternoon, left a few messages and still have yet to receive any form of reply. I’ve been into the bank who have confirmed my suspicions in that filing for a chargeback at this stage would amount to fraud as I did receive the purchased product in the first instance….i’m out of options guys
Unless somebody has a better course of action they can suggest for me I think my next move will be to go to the registered address – stay tuned0
