Upgrade SIM only contract with 3 - new SIM - lose voicemails?
I'm currently on a 30 day SIM only package with 3, I pay £12 for 300 mins, 3000 texts and 1GB of data. My sim is a regular size one.
I'm going to get the iPhone 5s when it's released so will need a nano sim, initially I was just going to ring and ask for a new nano sim to replace the regular sim and carry on with the package I'm on but I've seen they do 600 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB of data for £12.90 so I may as well 'upgrade' to this.
My question is... if I request an 'upgrade' and change packages and also get a new SIM will I lose my saved voicemails?
I know I could ring 3 and ask but going by my previous dealings with their customer service I think they will just make an answer up so was hoping that someone had done similar recently and got a new SIM and could tell me whether their voicemails were still there.
Thanks for any input
UPDATE: In case this helps anybody elese with a similar query, nano sim arrived and once activated my old voicemails were still saved so nothing was lost when teh sim cards were swapped.
