If it applies to it being on its own then i'll move it accross. If it has to be part of some deal then i'll leave it as a Halifax qualifying DD for the £5/month.

Depends on the company collecting the DD, type the name into Santanders list and see what it says. A lot of small ISPs are not included.
  • Zen Broadband. Apparently i'm good to go.
  • Anyone had problems receiving the mail with the "temporary security number" for internet login access? I have the other one with id & temp password for bit now.
  • Could someone kindly confirm that when the direct debits are set up, and the right amount is transferred in, that the 3% reate kicks in?

My DDs are showing but none have actually been paid yet as their due date isn't for another couple of weeks.

    Thanks

Yes that is correct you should get 3% on balances between £3k-£20K, providing 2 DD's are set up and you credit the account with £500 (from non Santander account) a month.

The 2 DD's only have to be showing as setup on the account, they don't have to be active.
I've got an active £1 DD going to each of my 2 Tesco's accounts only so the DD mandate does not expire (which I think happens with a direct debit after 12 or 13 months if not used).
