What could have caused 2 wild birds to die together? UPDATED

Another dead bird in the same space this morning.

That's 3 dead and 1 injured in the space of 10 days.
I hung a sun ornament at the window but clearly that's not enough. It now seems as though the birds are flying from the huge tree opposite and their line of sight must show the sky reflected in the window. I'm going to see if I can find a 'shade cloth' whatever that is as it's supposed to reduce reflection. I think I need a bird cut out or two as well.
This is one occasion I really wish my theory about them not flying into windows was right. Poor wee things.Herman - MP for all!

            Is this a trick question?

A Butler? As in a manservant kinda person?
Ok what am I missing? There's obviously something going over the top of my head. :rotfl:

In the old "Who Dunnit" mysteries it was always the Butler who commited the crime. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Horrible - you must dread looking out there at the moment
Do you have a blind or curtains on your window? Just in the short term, I'd live with them closed and the light on inside - not great I know, but just until you can sort something out more permanent ?
Let us know how you get on.0
