There were a number of breads to try - including walnut, olive, muesli and pretzels - followed by some sweet treats. This included chocolate tart and granola slice. The piece-de-resistance was the bread and butter pudding, with raspberries, which was devine.
.
Is there enough to replace an evening meal , or should I have something to eat before I head out ?0 -
I would say it's somewhere in between.
You can taste about 10 different breads, with various dips or spreads, then the sweets. The sweets, from memory: chocolate tart, brioche bread and butter pudding (a fair portion), macaroons, granola square, plus a couple of other things I don't remember.
As it's bread, it's pretty filling, and I would consider it akin to a hearty lunch.
I had dinner when I returned home, without too much effect. But then, I do live about an hour away from the Tesco I went to.Life's what you make it....

I just got back from the Sidcup event. It was great, loads to eat and drink and a fab goody bag. As well as the things listed above I got a box of bakery cakes (two cookies, two muffins, cinnamon swirl, loaf of museli bread (I think)).
I would upload a pic- but I cant figure out how.0 -
Hope I get extras I'm there tonight! ;-)0
