TTFM sorry to hear that the company is playing games things are stressful enough when you are facing redundancy
I actually managed to get a load of washing nearly dry on the line today, it is now on the airer and will be dry by the morning.
I have been bathing the blepheritis four times a day and it is starting to feel a bit better now, but I still look like I have been in a fight :rotfl:
It has turned very chilly here, so cardis are out and I have dug out the tv lap blankie, but I won't be putting the heating on yet.
I really begrudge paying into the fat cat's bonus scheme at BG, BT, water and all the other privatised scamming companies.
Dinner tonight is kate and sidney pie with potatoes and runner beans from the garden.

I know because I have one so it only costs me £1.35 for a swim now.
Our area does Health Referrals to the Leisure Centres too and I think ours are free. Well worth asking the question or poking about on the Council's website.0 -
Afternoon Everyone
Where does the time go to?
Rained here earlier, and I have to admit we had the heating on last night. A week on Saturday we start our migration back to the South! I don't like using the gas and electric either, but hate being cold. We have been looking at getting Solar Panels for the roof. What a minefield, in the end decided that we are not going to bother. I don't feel we can trust anyone.
Ald! is certainly getting very busy these days, and I don't know if anyone else has spotted certain items are on MySupermarket now, and shows big differences. Certainly would be worth a 10 mile car journey Bitsy, there is a L!dl at Melksham, is that nearer? The staff at our Ald! are pulling there hair out trying to keep the shelves stocked, and saying the warehouse is no longer big enough to keep enough stock to keep them full.
Had a paperwork afternoon, after a trip to the dentist this morning, just a checkup, clean bill of health:rotfl::D
HHOur area does the Health Referrals too, please take care and ensure you are OK before venturing back to work, and make sure you specify carrying boxes of paper is out of the question, say you have been told not to lift anything heavy by the Dr/Hospital.
B-Brain Good Luck with the electrical cigarettes, many people say it is knowing what to do with your hands which is the hardest. Maybe set a target for what you can buy with the money you save on cigarettes to give yourself a goal?
Sorry forgot the rest, so ((hugs)), Spoons, Positive Vibes all round, take care everyone. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Thank you so much everyone for the words of support, this thread is just simply lovely :happyhear
The meeting did not go ahead, or rather it started and had to be abandoned due to our network going down, affecting phones, computers etc. Quite ironic really because if they had bothered coming for the meeting, it would have been fine in person. Now rescheduled for Monday but we have decided to oppose their proposal and offer a counter proposal. We do not believe we will win but at least this way, we can all hold our heads high and say we triedLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Evening everyone
I'm late again. The days just seem to go so fast and I seem to achieve nothing. It doesn't help that I just feel off colour with no energy and low sometimes, not sure if I am lacking in vitamins or whether its just my age. Often when I eat I feel full very quickly and end up with heartburn or feeling sick.
OS today Dw emptied. Stitched all ds2 badges on his new scout shirt(eBay bargain £6 inc postage) it was brand new too. Took me a few hours.
Can anyone tell me I've got some tomato plants which are outside, loads of tomatoes still on but nearly all are green, will they still ripen if the weather has cooled down?
Bbird I am giving up smoking again too. I have been taking champix but am also using an ecig I got from the t**co pharmacy. It's a sealed menthol one cost me about £10 but has lasted me a few weeks. Found it easier this time round so far.
Molly hope you're managing to rest and that your dad is improving.
Butterfly - sorry to hear you are suffering. Hope you feel better soon.
Redruby - I am impressed, I couldn't have managed to do half of what you have done to your bedroom. You sound very talented.
Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.0
