If I heard right on the news this morn, it said these new notes are not going to be produced here.
If this is the case that will be one more thing to add to the 'not made here' list.0 -

Bitcoin is not pure cash though. Its a global transaction which is useful where local or national problems exist like in Argentina.
I dont think its quite as convenient to use as an actual coin and if they try it might be banned as we know cash use is a form of tax like petrol, etc
Maybe the plan for plastic notes is that they will replace all cash, so no coins. IF they are more machine acceptable I can see this happening
[Do you think theres any use to the altcoins out there?]0 -

The horror stories about Bitcoin are rife, no wonder people have no faith in the operation.0 -

Bitcoin is as convenient as cash, acts just like cash but has additional benefits over cash.
Bitcoin cannot be "banned" and is here to stay.
For anyone to suggest that Bitcoin is somehow a fraud or is any worse than cash when it comes to criminal activities shows a deep misunderstanding.0 -
They used to argue AC electricity was dangerous by its nature only useful in killing murderers and should be banned in favour of DC electricity which is far safer.
Bitcoin can be banned in the same way people can be banned from existance but hopefully not so in uk0 -
