i cannot find the snr info on the bt hub but i am sure it gives it within the other wireless router i have. i will check it next time i switch it on.0

i have contacted bt and although i connect at the exchange at 4.9mb by the time it gets to the house it is 0.5mb. they have recommended i wait until tomorrow to see if it sorts itself out and then they will put me back on the 2mb fixed service0

It seems BT are currently throttling users.
Trouble is the support staff don't know/admit this.
So throttling could be your problem.
