Just an update: I've excelled myself today
Dishes, bathroom, 2x laundry (hung up/folded away), general tidy up and I've cut 2 old fleecy pyjamas into bits to make the mutt a new blankie. Will just have to ask a friend to borrow the sewing machine

Things I need to motivate myself to do include:
Tidy my bedroom desk (the pile is half a meter high with greetings cards/make up I never use/inflatable planes (OH's not mine lol)/stationery)
Putting away dry clothes - I bought an extra linen basket for the "stuff to be put away" - now I just overflow that instead of my kitchen table lol
Declutter - seriously, I have too much stuff!
Finish my craft projects - I have a bedside table that has been painted and needs the posters mod podged to the top to finish, a kids bag to put handles onto (sorry to my cousin's daughter, your birthday present is a bit late oops!) and a wedding cushion and apron to finish off.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. TappingI'm finding my way back to sanity again... but I don't really know what I'm gonna do when I get there~ LifehouseWhat’s fur ye will make go by ye… but also what’s not fur ye, ye can jist scroll on by!0 -
Kboss, maybe a timer will work for you? A couple of days ago I felt really uninspired, but thought "I can do 15mins of something" and set the oven timer. I really got into the swing of things
Yesterday, I only managed 15mins and stopped, but I'm aiming for an hour in total today (I'll have to go to work later). Reward yourself when you get stuff done, whether it's the star chart or something else.
Oh, and I see you on the clutterI have a huge cupboard full of craft stuff I haven't used for ages. I will get to it, but have to do stuff that can be seen by others first
I won't even tell you about the other cupboards... :rotfl:
