I know, I just don't think it's always appropriate, in this case it's not so bad prehaps, but if I advised someone everything was fine and the next day they turned around and it wasn't, then it'd be my professional neck on the line if you acted based on my advice.

Whats not appropriate is the !!!!!! care that people seem to be getting from their care providers to necessitate having to seek information on a public advice forum.

thats so true inkie,i dont know if its everywhere, but the lack of care is shocking these days, everytime you go its a diffrent midwife, and then when you do tell them they practically seem to ignore what your saying, the midwife virtually said to me i had pre eclampsyia and worrying me to death yet when ive checked out my blood pressure with others its fine so i was worried unneccasarily and inkie had the good grace to explain everything to me which i really do appreciate

i went to see midwife today she said i had protein in my wee she also said my blood pressure was up well my blood pressure is 120/65 isnt that pretty normal?last midwife said it was low my blood pressure,i work in a chip shop and was boiling hot yesrsterday and diddnt drink much fluids im wondering if this has contributing facotrs to both of these and does it automatically mean i will get pre eclampsia, ive had 3 children and never suffered protein or raised blood pressure, can someone re assure me please, cheers dollops xxxx

Dont worry, I had protein in my samples and high blood pressure too, all the way through pregnancy, I didnt develop pre eclampsia but I was advised to keep hydrated and put my feet up whenever I could, my legs did swell quite badly at the end but that was probably because i could never sit still for long. How far on are you? I think if they are monitoring you, you will be fine, if your legs start to swell just go and get checked out by your midwife straight away. hope this helps.
You cant have everything; where would you put it? ;)
