Ok, I may have been not looking properly, thanks catwoman.
If I was to successfully gain a job role with one of these home based positions, I would need to fit the role around my current full time job until I was able to survive on the new position.
I currently work !!!!!! on a rotation of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.
Also, I think I will need to invest in windows 7 as I am currently using Ubuntu.0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I'm slowly working my way through them all to work out which are best etc!0 -
I see you have to pay for a CRB check too. And you don't get paid for your training until you've worked for them for 3 months.
Have you got any i/v and assessment tips other than to stress full-time availability?
I am currently in the recruitment process for sensee and this isnt correct they withhold only the first weeks payment of your training until you pass your probabtion which is 3 months. Yes you have to pay for a disclousure/crb but thats been the same for all home based customer service roles I have done. A friend of mines has just been offered a 35 hour contract with sensee too they dont ask for the sky considering they are employing you directly and not asking you to be self employed. so you have the security of knowing your getting paid your contracted hours.0 -
I was just looking at Sensee and it says that you need to have a wired connection to your router and not wireless. My router is down stairs and I cannot, for the life of me, work out how to move it upstairs. How much does it cost to get an extra telephone port added that you can connect your router to?0

About £130
This is a cheaper option

might be a bit messy but it will work.0
