Co-Op Pharmacy - Cheaper Frontline Flea treatment.

Co Op Pharmacy now do pet wormers and flea treatment. They have an offer on reducing prices to the level of most internet pet stores, but they have an in-store promotion of getting £2 off when you spend over £10, which makes them even cheaper. There is a leaflet in store with the voucher on, which expires on 2nd October.

  • I find Frontline doesn't work anywhere near as effectively as it used to. Don't know if they've changed the formula or what but I now use Stronghold instead, much more effective.

I agree, frontline didn't work for my cats. Had to retreat them with Advantage.
  • I thought I would put a post up for people who want to use Frontline, rather than for those who want to complain about it!

Don't worry about it, you'll find on here there's a whole host of people just waiting to pounce, usually the same ones who complain people don't post enough!

Frontline works for my cat, so thanks for the post.

Frontline seems to work in some areas, in other areas the fleas have become immune. Good find for those in areas where frontline still works

I often find those that complain that Frontline doesn't work are the ones that don't treat their house for fleas too. Fleas live IN THE HOUSE and not on the cat. If you don't treat the house effectively with Acclaim or Indorex then you're never going to rid your home or your cats of fleas.

Actually Chameleon it was my vet who told me that. Misty doesn't have fleas, she gets done with advantage as a preventative measure. Then if she does pick one up it doesn't last long :)

Please don't buy Frontline from ebay.

It's certain to be fake and you're very likely to seriously harm your cat :(
