Woo hoo!! :j:j That's a great chunk off! You're gonna blast through this debt no problem, I can tell!

3 NSDs in a row is brilliant too. For work dinners I usually take left overs from the night before's dinner. So today I have some tomato pasta for lunch. It saves having to faff around making something else for lunch and it's generally something nice and tasty.

Thanks,we are definitely feeling more positive now.
Yes I did that in my previous job but last nights was some soup I had frozen. It was awful! Still I was so hungry I wasnt too bothered!

    Morning,
Yesterdays spendy day went well. DS's shoes were half the price I had planned for so I bought him a little zip up jacket as his was too small so
The old one will go on ebay. Also got his duvet cover. Also I got staff discount on the jacket and duvet cover so saved a lot of money on them and was still in budget.

Looks like today won't be a NSD as I have to buy a stamp lol and some petrol :(
Still going to make more bread rolls for DDs school lunches, and put the washing out on the line.
Feeling pretty tired as I do two night shifts in a row and its very physical work. Hope to catch a nap when DS has his.

    Morning.
Was planning today would be a NSD day but I will need to buy some salt and flour later! However I'm quite pleased as today I have baked a loaf of bread and some rolls, made a stew for tea and I am doing some overtime at work later so thats a esult.

Yummy! I love homemade bread! I got out of the habit though because I hate the kneading!! We are low on bread though so might have to take your lead and make some today.

I can't knead it for long as I suffer from Carpal tunnel syndrome so I use my free standing mixer with a dough hook. Means I can make more and dfo it quicker.

Right so last night I checked our JA to see its "only" £350 OD and that's with two payments having gone out. Also our bank charges have been refunded :-)
DHs wages go in which means it will be well inbalance and after the morgage payment I have worked out there will be around £250 left for additional payments that month.
Last week I realised we have been overpaying for an insurance so hoping that will be rectified this week so it will be refunded, it might not be but if it is it's around £100, that will go straight into our JA.
Also expecting a cheque for selling hubby's phone so that will go straight in too.
DH is planning a carboot sale at the weekend too so again the money will go into that account. Then I'm figuring that we will be pretty much well in credit for that account so any additional funds we have will go onto the CCs.
3 items I have on ebay are finishing today and all are going to sell! Yay! Then I have another 3 or 4 to put on. Going to use that money towards my lowest CC.

Meal planned all meals for this week so don't need to buy anything bar some milk and fruit for the kids.

Planning 5 NSDs as don't get paid till next week. Hope I can do it :-)

I really want one of those mixers, just need to get everything cleared then I can save up for one!!

You can definitely do those 5 NSDs, especially with all the meal planning you have done. That's where I fall down, not planning meals so then having to pop to the shops to get that vital ingredient for dinner! Doh!

Fingers crossed for loads of bids in the dying minutes on your eBay sales!! :T

Ah thanks, made £15 after postage so not great but better than nothing!
I was given money at Christmas so I used that to pay for it. Its only a cheap one not a fancy pants one.
I had to pay for the postage on the items today but I have the paypal funds for them (all the winners paid right away) does that count?

That's a NSD in my book. I had to do the same but as soon as I got back from the post office I transferred the exact cost from PayPal into my bank account. So I haven't actually spent any of my own money.
