  • Molly so sorry to hear about Chay ((((Hugs))))

    GWS Jools and Dumpling x

It has just stopped raining and is brightening up, I have an NSD day today so just pottering about.

DH got called out on Saturday in the middle of the barbecue ( The giant kerplunk went down very well, I will post a piccie when DD gives me my camera cable back) and at 9pm last night because there is a fault on the Fire Alarm. It annoys me because he doesn't get paid anything for callouts .

The blepheritis is still playing me up big time, I have to watch that it doesn't erupt into cojunctivitis as it usually does when it gets this bad.

DS went in to college today for enrolment and induction on to his course and starts back tomorrow full time :T

Hester don't run before you can walk just rest as much as you can ((((Hugs)))) .
By the way how has the school taken your being off sick?

Right like Hester I am off to get some crafting done, now it is Autumn term Christmas will be on us before we know it

    Afternoon everybody,

Really heavy rain at the mo.DS1 took me out to As da ,as I needed a few bits and a black tie-could only find 2 (need 3) this morning and we have a funeral tomorrow,DSons friends Dad.We were very friendly when they were younger as both our lads spent a lot of time with him, even had a couple of hols & we used to go out occasionally so we all want to go.

We left Lyla home alone for the first time, popped her into the utility room with a toy and a teething bone. She sleeps in there at the moment anyway and we listened at the garage door when we got back and all was quiet :TI wanted to do a trial run before the funeral ,though its fairly close and we shouldnt be too long.

Got a load of reduced carrots and fruit that I can use for juicing-havent had chance to do any over the weekend so just done a batch, and the rest of the carrots I shall slice with leeks and celery to freeze for soups and casseroles which I find is a great time saver. Also got some clothes for DGD birthday at the end of the month.

Molly- Oh dear, what can I say but so sorry to hear about Chay :( poor little chap.I hope you find some comfort in knowing he went in your arms feeling loved and secure.

Hope your Mum & Dad are ok.It is such a worry with parents who are getting on a bit. Both sets of our parents have passed away now but we had a difficult few years.I do remember feeling torn between parents and my own immediate family's needs :( Lots of hugs for you.

Hope the tummy bugs go away quickly to those of you afflicted.

  • Molly, so sorry to hear about Chay :-( I used to have a gorgeous Heinz 57 called Ben - got him when I was 5, and we had to have him put down 9 years ago when I was 20. He'd had a stroke a couple of years previously then he had 2 fits and his back legs just went. It was heartbreaking and I still miss him. I've had other animals since then, but for me dogs are just that much more than a pet. I'd love another dog, but I don't know if I could handle it!

Finally on my lunchbreak. Meant to have it at 1.15, but all the other managers went on theirs so I had to cover, and then I had a meeting! Got another 15 min or so then it's back in and back to the grind until 6pm!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j

    Evening All

Molly, so sorry to hear that Chay has left us, such a sad time for you all. Hope your Dad continues on his road to recovery.
Feel better soon Jools and Dumpling.

Well, I have sold the house! Got a better offer on Saturday morning which I accepted. Put an offer in on another property today and after that was rejected put in another and it too has been accepted. Sat here wondering what has happened!

Hugs to everyone, keep well. Take care. XX

Thank you for all your very kind comments x

Camelot - well done on selling the house xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Just catching up

OS today 1 lot of watching, most disappointed to hang on the airer. Cleaned kitchen after dinner and loaded Dw.

Even had a nap this afternoon as I was feeling rather rough, dizzy and quite faint. Felt better afterwards.

Molly - sorry to hear about Chay, sounded like he had a lovely life. Hope your dad continues to make good progress and that you manage to get some rest too.

Jools and dumpling - hope you feel better soon.
Camelot - great news on the house sale and also finding one you like and getting an offer accepted.
Hester - glad you are feeling a bit better.
Redruby - have you finished your decorating?

Sorry if I've missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
