Clean washing all folded and away
Bedding and baby washing washed.. including Shaun and 3 bunnies!
Dot just devoured 2 dinners!!! I think someone is having a growth spurt.. DS3 is also complaining his legs hurt so I think he might be too!! I can't afford them to grow!
I have learned 2 new knitting procedures I have really struggled with in the past.. knitting in the round.. yes I KNOW it is easy peasy.. and the 'magic loop'.. confuddled me at first but I mastered the beast! So Spam has 1/4 of a sleeve and the body of an aram sweater.. I feel all talented.. next learning curve. grafting stitches together.. that's probably easy peasy too! I might try crochet while I'm on a roll!

Please can I join. I have lurked for a while, but think I need to keep posting to get me back on track. I work full time, as does DH. We have 4 children, 3 cats and a dog. So life is quite hectic!
Not sure how much I will get done, but I will do some things at least!

Thank you for confirming what I already suspected! Cheers!
Dinner demolished, DSS and DSD both pushed it around their plates as though I had spat in it. Getting peed off with their pickiness around food; I'm going to refuse to cook for them soon :mad:0 -
pigpen, magic loop is the bestest! I can't do socks on DPNs, too much like juggling with 4 sticks and string, but I love the convenience of ML. Plus you can just buy one long circ in each needle size regardless of the piece you're knitting and loop it to fit.
I have a set of Knitpicks interchangeable needles and they are brilliant. A largish outlay initially but I will never need to buy a needle between 3 and 10mm again.0 -
OH came home today looking worried. He has googled his injury from cricket last week and is going to try and see the GP tomorrow. He thinks he has snapped the tendon!!!!!!!!
I've just got back from my walk to a message to ring my sister. I have left messages on her mobile, sent a txt and messaged her on f/b. Apparently mum isn't very well. When I rang the house phone I got b-I-l who told me that my sister is on her way to mum's - mum has d&v and hasn't had a drink since yesterday morning!!!!!!!!!!!!
So now i'm in a quandary - just waiting to hear - don't know whether to go straight there or wait to hear. Given how late it is an dthe fact that I don't drive I guess waiting is the sensible answer...
Good luck to whoever is giving birth tomorrow and hugs to mummyof5 and family... but what a beautiful peaceful way to go.
Off to watch Uni Challenge...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
That's the painting finished for tonight. I have bathed DD, scrubbed the bunkers, light switches and sockets, cleaned the lampshades and put them back up, cleaned the microwave, cleaned the kettle, sorted the uniforms for tomorrow out. All that's needing done now is washing out of fridge, washing down the cupboards and mopping the floor but as I'm sitting on my fat !!! with a cuppa it can wait till tomorrow now!
cy hope its not a snapped tendon. My Oh snapped his a year ago this week and he's only just back to work. Dr says having a broken bone is better it heals quickerlove and hugs to the invalid x
Piggers just a month now till my jollies. Can you tell I'm a bit excited!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
