Your email is over emotive (he did not nearly die unless you have expert opinion from the doctors at the hospital to state this, the symptoms seem to be in line with concussion) and some of the information you request you no doubt will not receive, their internal training and procedures are normally privy to the company.
Your demand of 7 days is silly, as you are only asking them to remedy the issues you have raised.
That is what you are asking for right?
If so, then the investigation, H&S recommendations and implementation will take a lot longer than 7 days.
Whilst Butlins have a duty of care and the absence of recording in an accident book would be an issue (unless they recorded this later), I do feel you are being over dramatic.0 -
How much are you after?0

You let your kid get in a bumper car.....and are complaining that they got....wait for it........big drum roll..................bumped.
You are a genius [where genius means ...better not say as I'll get told off].0 -
If you saw that the dodgems didn't have seatbelts, why did you use the ride?"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

If your child was unconscious then this should of been reporting in an accident book along with the treatment given and signed by the patient or guardian. also they should fill in form F2508 Injury Reporting an accident under the RIDDOR Regulations 19950

The next time your child (or any other child in your protection) is knock unconcious by a blow to the head, call an ambulance. Take charge of the situation and look after your own."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
You'd be taken more seriously by them and others, if you cut the rubbish.
Whilst it was not pleasant I'm sure. He did not nearly die.
I wouldn't be making claims you can't back up really.
Also I agree with the above, if he were that bad, awful colour, unconscious, why on earth didn't you call an ambulance?0 -
sounds like butlins should have handled it better, but seriosuly, how much compensation are you looking for? sounds like you have a claim about to be made...........0

What did A&E actually say? Was he concussed or did he faint? Any lasting damage? Any internal injuries?Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
