4g already in Birmingham

I tried a scan in two different out of city centre locations today, and was surprised that 4G shown for all three networks, not so long back EE wasn't even showing

That said I won't be paying a premium to access the service as I get wifi most places I frequent and have 5mbs on 3g (unlimited data).

    Well Voda and O2 are using the exact same masts and equipment so no surprise. (referring to Voda only being in London)

    Plus cities are normally 4G'd well in advance before switch on due to the amount of testing they have to do.

    For example, EE have had Plymouth 4G'd for a few months now. But it's not available to the public.
