Hi Techies,
I have email accounts with yahoo, hotmail and google. Is it possible to read these emails offline? If so, could someone please explain in simple language how I would do that?

go to 'mail' on your mac; then using 'mail', 'preferences', 'accounts' you can add your email accounts and it will download the emails when it accesses the internet using wireless technology [airport].Sanctimonious Veggie. GYO-er. Seed Saver. Get in.0 -
You mean when not connected to the internet? Most email clients will allow you to download entire messages so you can read them when not connected to the internet.
What email client do you use at the moment?0 -
Thanks for the replies guys! For clarification, I know I'll need to access the internet to access my emails but then I want to download them, read and reply and then re-connect to send my replies so that I'm not paying for internet for the whole time while I read through the emails.0

Presuming you're buying internet access in minutes rather than download amounts, why not just download the emails then switch off the internet - eg. disable the wireless adapter or unplug the ethernet cable, then re-enable/plug back in when you're ready to send?0

Internet access on the cruise ships is charged per minute ($0.75 per minute). I'll give it a go - thanks!0
