I think your ability not to allow the past to make you bitter is what seems to be a common trait on here..........:A

    That and hair dye :D

    Hiya CS

Went to a wedding, wombled 2 bottles of red, got them into the car and then remembered the 2 cans of beer I'd hidden under the outside chair.

By the time i'd got back the staff were taking the chairs inside, arrggg, grabbed my beer fast and attempted my get away, security told me that due to licensing laws no drinks were to leave the premises, so I emptied out some water bottles in the toilet and put the beer into them, stuck them in my pockets and walked out with a smile :D

Thanks tiny thought it was just me being a it paranoid but i dothink they blacklist people unfortunately the checkout supervisor with her maddona head piece thinks she god

I don't think it's Ts as a whole blacklisting, I just think some employees are a bit jobsworth. I think in my case the info would have been passed on if I was being officially watched.

In your case they probably want the info for themselves to get the 1p stuff. ;)

  • Well it was back when the big thorntons were a penny, hadn't had a problem before an old chap works on the Ss and was normally friendly I bought 6 no probs went back bought a few more still no probs left went home,2 days later went back was just doing a normal shop well with a few cheap surf liquids when he came over said your the lady with chocolates I blushed and smiled he then called over his super who demanded to know how I know they were a 1p ect gave me a real grilling I hastily paid for said shopping while they muttered to each other with much head shaking I left but now every time I go back to the self scan either the old guy stands next to me or mysteriously another member of staff needs to tidy something right next to the scanner, to be honest I thought I was being paranoid until hubby came with me and asked what was going on v embarrassing

    What a cheek

Demanded to know indeed! Which store is this? In Newport?

I would make eye contact with them and give them a big broad knowing smile and a wink ;)

I think logs are best keep for a while to season - dry out before burning ???
