What's the achica thing btw? I think I've signed up with them but what's the deal? Seems to have passed me by.
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

    My quidco has just changed

    Outstanding in confirmed £27.20

    Next payment £17.20

Do they take the £5 fee from clicksnap ? I thought that was free

    I thought that too

Couldn't it just be that you have £10 of another claim that is tracked but not payable?

I think it's the same for many on here. That's why a place like this, full of like minded people is so nice :)

It makes me :( too but we're both stubborn. The more she moans the more stuff I buy. I asked her last night if I could put a spare fridge freezer in the garage and she said "don't you dare". I've been keeping my eye on HUKD for cheap one.
Sounds a bit similar S-D but I grin & bear it somehow :D

I can't really imagine 2 Elite living together, I think we need our OHs to make us take a step back now and again. ;)

Otherwise we would not get through our front doors. :rotfl:

Go for it Sad_Dad, we got a freezer from freecycle, took ages for one to come up, I'm sure Mrs SD will come round to the idea. :)

I think most of us are in sort of the same postiion Sad_Dad, our OHs just don't get it.

Mine does not like spending money unless it is on beer or his hobby.

The credit card bill came through the other day, (we do pay it off each month) lots of amazon buys I did not recognise. Got him to check, all correct but £60 on books and board/card games was a bit  He pointed out I had spent much more, BS orders (for presents), Ts direct printer inks, Naked wine, Ts wine order with the new customer code. was about double his spend but if I did not make the savings he would not be able to indulge.

The storing of everything until it's used causes a few rumbles but he is gradually getting used to it. Even to my astonishment going to the Ts food evening on his own with the promise of freebies.

We are 2 totally different people than when we first met (it's our 25th wedding anniversary next year) but I think we compliment each other well and have allowed each other to grow into the people we are today having gone in slightly different directions but ending up in the same place. A few struggles on the way but Yin and Yang and all that.

Oh dear that has turned into a bit of a story. But I hope you all know what I mean. :o

Thanks, I appreciate your reply, a lot of your comments sound familiar to me also.

Pepsi is also 25p a can @ T right now, you can play a similar trick about 7p a can.

Edit not so good as no Quidders of course but even so: cheap Pepsi with the £17 or £28 off £60.

    if it's 25p a can, presumably its £2 per 8 pack

    so 30 packs/240 cans for £60

    less £17 = 30 packs for £43 ( 18p a can)
    or
    less £28 - 30 packs/240 cans for £32 (13p a can)

*goes to check the £28 thing out of interest unless anyone wants to save me the bother and tell me what it was

Thanks, that's still a good price. I'll look into it, anything to make her indoors happy.

Yes, previously they didn't, but when the system changed earlier in the year (May?) to regular or premium membership the fee retention conditions also changed to include ALL earnings. :(
  • Bought this for the cat for winter :)
