Just checked hubby's quidco and he received the extra £5 first order bonus + the £12 clicksnap on the coke so combining that with the £17 off £60 spend and the floflo sneaky early order trick the 6x 24 cokes and a box of special k cost £5 excluding delivery, wowsers!!!0

Thanks.I will try it.:T0 -
Just got DTD on smoked gammon, thanks OP, but it messed up PP as dearer in A. Mini chedders 100% free compared but Hula Hoops didn't - pp shows 14 pack but they were 100% free whereas mini cheddars shows 7 pack with 100% free on pp.0

Did you get the correct flavour Hula Hoops? Someone mentioned just before that the original do not work.0 -

Nice one. But COT's little tip last night was also worth £28.01 off a £62.01 order this morning: admittedly no first order bonus but OTOH no need to open a new a/c and alert the ballchoppers @ T :beer:0 -

I was sat next to my wife on the sofa trying to have a sneaky peak at the pictures and reading the banter but I couldn't join in. For some reason my missus thinks I'm wasting my time being on here. She doesn't appreciate all the money I've saved. After all these years I've come to the conclusion that we're probably incompatible as I like to save money and she likes to spend it
I think most of us are in sort of the same postiion Sad_Dad, our OHs just don't get it.
Mine does not like spending money unless it is on beer or his hobby.
The credit card bill came through the other day, (we do pay it off each month) lots of amazon buys I did not recognise. Got him to check, all correct but £60 on books and board/card games was a bit  He pointed out I had spent much more, BS orders (for presents), Ts direct printer inks, Naked wine, Ts wine order with the new customer code. was about double his spend but if I did not make the savings he would not be able to indulge.
The storing of everything until it's used causes a few rumbles but he is gradually getting used to it. Even to my astonishment going to the Ts food evening on his own with the promise of freebies.
We are 2 totally different people than when we first met (it's our 25th wedding anniversary next year) but I think we compliment each other well and have allowed each other to grow into the people we are today having gone in slightly different directions but ending up in the same place. A few struggles on the way but Yin and Yang and all that.
Oh dear that has turned into a bit of a story. But I hope you all know what I mean.0 -
sure is
when i said to the missus i was going to do the coke glitch and worst case scenario (if £17 didn't come off) I would pay £24 for 144 cans she said "we can't afford £24 on coke, we need it for other stuff"
Yet the bank account shows she's spent £20 in costa just tihs week  my coke would have lasted til next year :wall:
I talked her around and thanks to clicksnap tracking despite T not delivering the order in full I could justify doing it again and now have 240 cans for less than £20 :beer:Busy_spider wrote: »Just checked hubby's quidco and he received the extra £5 first order bonus + the £12 clicksnap on the coke so combining that with the £17 off £60 spend and the floflo sneaky early order trick the 6x 24 cokes and a box of special k cost £5 excluding delivery, wowsers!!!
Pretty impressed with the coke shopping. Shame my wife will only drink Pepsi otherwise I could have made her happy with this. Hopefully I'll be able to get her some dove or nivea stuff soon if I can find the trigger.0
