I can't really imagine 2 Elite living together, I think we need our OHs to make us take a step back now and again.

Otherwise we would not get through our front doors. :rotfl:
Go for it Sad_Dad, we got a freezer from freecycle, took ages for one to come up, I'm sure Mrs SD will come round to the idea.
Freecycle is a new one to me (you see this place is also educational).
I've just looked at my area and there's quite a lot of stuff wanted and offered so I'll keep a look out for a freezer. There's people asking for stuff that I already have and no longer using in my garage so if I give those away I'll have more room for the freezer and my extra stash.0 -
Luckily I'm on the cheapest tariff out there AFAIK - EDF April 2014 Blue Promise but when I have to renew I'm in for a massive rise I guess.0

A quick :hello: from me on a cold but sunny afternoon
in Suffolk
Loads to read back on since yesterday afternoon but far too many pages so I've picked up on a few pages back
Got a womble to look at later will let you know what I find, if anything

Please, glitch fairy, if you're listening.....I'd like a glitch on coffee....I have been good
That's just what I'm after too
my coffee mountain is running low :cool:I think most of us are in sort of the same postiion Sad_Dad, our OHs just don't get it.
The storing of everything until it's used causes a few rumbles but he is gradually getting used to it.
We are 2 totally different people than when we first met (it's our 25th wedding anniversary next year) but I think we compliment each other well and have allowed each other to grow into the people we are today having gone in slightly different directions but ending up in the same place. A few struggles on the way but Yin and Yang and all that.
Sounds very much like us  been married 25 years and he STILL can't see why I would buy a trolley full of loo/kitchen rolls or a [STRIKE]load[/STRIKE][STRIKE] stack[/STRIKE] few bottles of wine
He likes beer but not every night
No trigger of shampoo in my local so no Dove for me
no
trigger Glade either
I did ask one of the shelf fillers about
the glade and she told me that they have removed some Glades
from sale just now as they are replacing with Christmas ones
e.g spiced apple etc
Now, do I go for a catch up or just make a coffee and stay here hmmm?
Stay here with a coffee me thinks
There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

We have given quite a few things away but equally got some useful things given. Our garage is old and dusty so a new freezer was not an option. When we gave our old sofa and armchair, the collector brought us a bottle of wine.
OH changed our settingss to receive a digest not sure how you do that but you get snap shot of wanted/offered items in one email that you can scan rather than an email everytime someone puts on something new.0 -
