Oooh I had the same issue when the office cleaner accidently knocked mine over whilst it was powered on would you mind letting me know where you sent yours to and then hit me with the £'s? Hi peeps, Thanks for all your advice regarding lappy. It was my sons before I had it. We got him a new one as it had an overheating problem. The fan comes on but it still gets too hot! I had an external fan and it worked ok until yesterday! as soon as the fan starts, 10 seconds later it swicthes off. It's been trying to restore itself and has now done so, but it's reset to factory conditions and everything has been wiped. I'm now in the process of loading some programs on it to see it will do!! Wish me luck.
