Some years ago I had major on-going problems with a Daewo car. I won't bore you with the whole sorry tale but eventually the National Sales Manager very foolishly gave me his personal mobile number. A very silly thing to do and I took full advantage calling him several times a day until he saw things my way. In frustration he offered to take back my faulty car (which was around a year old by this time) and said he would replace it with a new model. He quoted the price of the new one and said he would take £1000 off the price leaving me just a few hundred pounds to pay (a good deal cos I got a brand new car with AA membership and a full years tax etc). Unfortunately he was so wound up that he couldn't correctly take £1000 off so the cash he asked me for was a lot less than he meant. I got him to repeat it several times and confirm the price. Half an hour later he called back and said '..I don't suppose I can appeal to your better nature and correct y pricing error can I?' Too true he couldn't. But I think he was just glad to see the back of me.

The new model had air con (which the old one didn't have) - and I insisted they fit a sunshine roof as well.

When I have a justified complaint its VERY hard to get rid of me.

    :T
I bet he no longer gives his mobile number out now :rotfl:
I'd have been ringing in the middle of the night while on my lunch break at work :D

WellI never did get any pizzas and was just about to go to tesco when I read last posters comments about pizzas not working. So sorry for anyone who lost out. Thanks for posting about the pizzas anyway.

The funny thing is it was the exact same manager who was very helpful in sorting me out a loan 2 days before we got married and went on our honeymoon. I'd always thought she was really nice.
I spose she was obviously happy to be dishing the money out in the form of a loan than she was to be cancelling a fee they should be getting :rotfl:

I have had a couple of complaints recently but I always ring them and lodge a formal complaint. I got £90 paid into my account - £50 ex gratia and £40 for the cost of my call (was kept hanging on for an hour) - didn't tell them I was on free mins and had them on loud speaker as I was cooking tea and cleaning the kitchen at the time.
