Been around the houses trying to find this out, Can anyone help please...

If a 30 day money back guarantee is advertised on a website when purchasing an item, Should the terms of this guarantee be within the terms and conditions?

If it should, Can I fight this with the seller?

Depends if they are classing it as part of their TOS or a separate policy, but their is nothing to say it should be in their TOS as long as its well advertised on their site and has the full terms of the guarantee listed.

A bit more detail is needed, a link to the product would be enough.

An extended return policy is a way of extending the DSR statutory minimum of 7 days, usually with postage excluded but giving a bit more time for change of mind.

The item would still have to be in as new resellable condition but without T&C's then I suppose they may struggle to refuse a return for any reason.

Sometimes the regulars on here can find things the OP's miss so if you tell the forum the problem and product they will usually be able to give the correct advice.

as the OP is a newbie they wont be able to post links, but the can post without the http or www

this will help to see the site and what they sell. I know in the hosting business a MBG is kept separate to TOS as certain items/services cant be refunded, so too much info to place within general TOS.

To be honest this is my own fault, like many others I imagine. I ordered a trial of slimming pills through raspberry-ketoneblast
I briefly read the terms and thought it was worth the money if it worked, I noted the 14 day trial period. I then saw the 30 day money back guarantee when I entered my details and stupidly I confirmed the order.

Well, they didn't work so I contacted the company knowing full well that I would be liable for the money 30 days after the order. I accept this part and I knew I would have the funds to cover it.

What I don't accept is that there is no 30 day money back guarantee as far as they are concerned and that they charged my card 14 days after the order not 30. To me, it says this clearly in the terms.

Surely if the guarantee is there it should be upheld in some way shape or form? And surely they shouldn't have taken the funds 16 days early?

I don't want to be personal but slimming pills are about the least money saving thing you can buy - the exact opposite surely?

I looked on their website for some medically or scientifically peer reviewed research to show it does what it claims. But not for long.

Unfortunately real "healthy eating" is more expensive than all the pre-packaged crap in our shops. £2 or £3 for a tiny punnet of raspberries is crazy.

I completely agree with your comments robatwork. I got dragged into the hype about them and have paid the consequences, not just financially either. In deep trouble with the Mr! But all my own doing.

i dont see any mention of a 30 day MBG on their site. what i read is

The 30 day money back guarantee is mentioned when you enter your details. I just tried entering random things and it's definitely there.

Having noted of course that also in the terms it says:
