Sky cashback + upfront line rental

Hi all,

Long term lurker! Apologies if posted in incorrect part of forum.

Thinking about getting Sky broadband and Sky Talk, enticed by cashback that third party website is offering. However, can anyone help/confirm whether paying line rental upfront will result in no cashback?

From Topcashback:
"Orders must be completed WHOLLY online, if the order is finalised over the phone, the order will not be eligible for cashback".

From Sky:
Upfront line rental "only available by calling 08442 410311" (must be done after ordering online).

I am currently not taking any risks and waiting for he cashback to be paid before paying the line rental for the year for two reasons:

1. Sky not reliable at paying cashback and experienced this in the past on one occasion so don't want to jeopardize not receiving it
2. The amount of cashback expected to be paid will cover the annual line rental

Will let you know soon as the cashback it currently tracked with an estimated date of payment 22 September 2013
