    It actually makes it less likely as it would have required a statement of demands and needs and if they can supply that then it trumps the unprovable allegation.

  • Don't build you hopes up. If DFS have any sense they will have destroyed sales records from 9 years ago, and unless you can provide your own documentary evidence of PPI your complaint will be dead in the water.
    From 9 years ago (okay nine years and a week) they will not have to defend a complaint unless you take them to court as FOS has no jurisdiction.

    the ppi or insurance premiums as they put it was still active in 2009/10 when it was paid off,therefore its within the six year active period.would that make a difference????
