Jet2 Flight claim denied

Hi - I am new to this, but after reading my email, decided to claim for a 5 hour delay from Leeds to Alicante with Jet2. I used the template but have now received a rejection letter stating that 'extraordinary circumstances' led to the delay of our flight. More specifically, they stated that it was caused by an unexpected safety shortcoming. Is this the end for our claim or are Jet2 just 'trying it on? any help would be appreciated:mad::question::question::question::question:

I have read many threads - I have put a claim in via Bott and co - no win no fee - I will update when I hear
