Does it work like that? I thought that feedback for a number of items bought by the same person like this was bundled together and regarded as a single item of feedback.

So did I, but I bought 8 items from one seller, paid one invoice with combined postage, and it wanted me to leave 8 lots of postage.

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • contact ebay, open a case, leave NEG

    They're having a laugh
  • Only mistake I can see here, is you went ahead with the purchase after they changed the price, you should have aborted then, and reported it to eBay.

Way I see it, you put a bid in for something, price changed by seller, you then had the option of not going ahead (doubt you would have got a strike against you if you took it up with eBay and told them about the messages), or agreeing to the new price, which you did.

Don't get me wrong, the seller is still a knob for not looking into the costs before agreeing in message to do it; but you still looked at the overall final price and decided to go ahead with it, doesn't matter if postage cost him, £20, £6.30, or £0, he's a business, not a charity

I agree, I shouldn't have agreed to the new price, and with hindsight I wouldn't have. Fact is that the seller still offered me the items for £40 all in, then when they realised that they would make a loss, changed the price without asking if I was still happy to proceed. Their neg will be with them this evening as they don't feel the need to explain themselves.
