Yeah labour wasn't too cheap either though.
Labour=£2400
Granite (4m ish)=£1400 which seemed ok from what I've seen.
Any idea where I can get glass splashbacks from? I can't seem to find any suppliers on the net.0 -
We use a local mirror and glass company for ours. They do about 16 colours and send the hob area glass off to be tempered.
Have you looked at Diapol for your granite? I can't recommend them highly enough. You can price up online, takes the guess work out of it. They have such high standards of themselves.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I did have a squint at diapol but the original plan was to get the local kitchen co to fit, but at 11k its out of budget so the DIY option it is.
So I'm now searching for reputable fitters in Halifax/Huddersfield etc.
