Howdens Units - Integrated Microwave

Hi,

Do any of the Howdens Kitchen units take a 595mm wide microwave along with the double oven?

While I'm at it, is there a list of unit sizes for howdens online? I can't seem to find one.

It's more about whether there are doors in that range to suit that combination; the units are standard sizes so you can do non-standard things with them if you can get the right combination for the height of the unit. It might be that you have to use the door for a bridging unit or even a drawer front(!). I think it would be pretty impractical to access one of the ovens with that arrangement, though?

There are some technical pdfs somewhere on the website if you dig, otherwise, there is a separate, smaller brochure available in store, if I recall.

Any idea what is the difference %age wise between burford, glendevon, greenwich

Greenwich is the cheapest, then burford, then glendevon. I can't tell you the % I'm afraid, I have very samey customers - they all buy from the higher end and from the same three ranges!

Rule of thumb is that the cheapest is at the front of the brochure, most expensive at the back.

Final question I promise... Could you decipher this line for me, I'm just trying to get an idea of what I might pay.

4 Glendevon White Full height 500mm wide wall units with cushion close. 70% discount, total of £372 excluding VAT. Are they quoting you directly?

Are they all being sited seperately? Otherwise using 1000mm cabinets with 500mm doors will be cheaper. The key is to use the biggest size units that you can.

Hi,

No I haven't been quoted anything from Howdens. I stole that from a post on here and was just trying to fathom it.

I got a quote from a kitchen co in Halifax who were excellent. It's just they use Colonial Kitchens exclusively and the price came out at £3850 for just units (no worktops) which seemed expensive. This was for 12 units of which were:

300mm extra tall larder
600mm extra tall double oven unit
500mm 4 drawer unit
600mm pan drawer
500mm base
2 600mm base
600mm extra tall fridge freezer unit
3 500mm wall
400mm wall
