    Well I asked on chat my end date and they have now offered me same deal as before but with free phone instead of £59 I'm not caving yet cos ill kick myself next week if it goes down in price

    Actually consensus is that the 4 is definitely going to be discontinued, the lowest available model will be the 4S.

    . Really want to keep same number though as had it 6 years

    If you upgrade through a third party retailer you stay on Vodafone and keep your number !

    The iphone 4s was really a good phone for about a few months. After switching to a galaxy that will work on any network using any apps on a larger screen I can see apple having a chance in the future.
    The harder one works the luckier one gets!

    As suspected, the iPhone 5 is discontinued. From the 20th the iPhone range is 4s, 5c and 5s.

    iPhone 5 will be like the iPad 3, it will just disappear.
