samsung sgh-a800. dead?

hi can anyone help
whilst trying to unlock my samsung sgh-a800 it has gone dead on me. when i turn it on the screen and keypad flash three times then nothing. i can't turn it off or access anything.
if this can be rectified id be grateful.
if anyone can explain how to unlock it too as it asks for a password cos network is locked

a number of codes i looked out.
i think this one was for memory reset after having tried a code that has come up numbers of time whilst searching for a code.0 -

Sim Lock is only one of many locks that might be in place. I'm pretty sure that if a network has put a Sim Lock in place, it would be accompanied by the SP (Service Provider) lock as well. Also, memory reset code is the worst type of code to apply, as it might have a whole lot of side effects (as you have discovered already). Just do a Google search, and you should find plenty of helpful links (most of them are not free, though).0 -
you could try to reflash it using samsung t100 cable, but it may not work depends if the s/w can connect to the phone or not?0
