What to do with Mifi with 13 months left on contract?

Through a series of situations and decisions at different times, we've ended up with an iphone with Three on unlimited data, which I can tether to my computer AND a mobile wifi unit (Huawei) also with Three.
The problem is, when the network is down (which is quite often) - both units are out of action. I'd like to get a landline based broadband instead of the mifi. Problem is that I have 13 months left on contract at £15.99 a month. Is there anywhere I can either sell the contract or the unit to at least get some of the money back?
Three say you can transfer the contract to someone, but don't know how to find someone who would take it. Any ideas?

Thanks. I don't want to sell the iphone. I would like to have the iphone and a landline based broadband, so get rid of the dongle. I just want to know if there are any options for getting anything back for the dongle and/or the contract?0

yes sell the mifi, wont go for much, £40 - £50 on ebay, but then you have 13 months remaining on the contract to pay for. keep it or sell it, you are still going to be in a similar position financially speaking, having to paythe remaining line rental, but if you do pay it off, you will save the VAT, which is 20% knocked off.
so if your contract was £15, the termination fee will be around £156 minus what you sell the mifi for, so about £100 all together to buy out the contract.0 -

£40/£50 for a used MiFi?? Don't think so, when you can buy them new for £30.
Of course if the OP has the Huawei E5756, it's a different matter.0 -
you can sell the contract , half price to someone who is willing , friend etc,0

There are also UK websites that match up sellers with potential buyers prepared to take on a short-length contract. Do a search to find them.0
