Can anyone tell me why I am getting a rectangle sad face with the left corner folded down icon in the middle of the page , the page wont load properly but I don't recognise what it is.

It was a page in facebook, I did have a crash last night updating avast and had to reinstall chrome and revcover my favicons:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad

Check you have Version 29.0.1547.66 m of Chrome, if not update.0 -

If you're using Windows, the simplest solution is probably to use System Restore and revert back to a date/time before your system crashed.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I did thats when chrome went t i t s up!!

In my experience System Restore doesn't always work (Vista) but using an earlier restore point can often put things back together. You may need to keep going back [to earlier restore points] until it works.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
