Can anyone tell me why I am getting a rectangle sad face with the left corner folded down icon in the middle of the page , the page wont load properly but I don't recognise what it is.

It was a page in facebook, I did have a crash last night updating avast and had to reinstall chrome and revcover my favicons:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad

If you're using Windows, the simplest solution is probably to use System Restore and revert back to a date/time before your system crashed.

I did thats when chrome went t i t s up!!
I guess I will have to do another restore

In my experience System Restore doesn't always work (Vista) but using an earlier restore point can often put things back together. You may need to keep going back [to earlier restore points] until it works.
