4 years since what?
I just ask bf "ohh what shall we do this weekend, its the anniversary of when we met" so he knows we are doing something!0 -
He always remembers our anniversary (though I never get a card) but he never remembers my birthday which is the day before our anniversary. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes. I forget every year.... I know, I'm rubbish
OH is more likely to remember than me. Mind you, we don't do anniversary gifts, we buy something together we can both use/benefit from.
I couldn't tell you date we first met either
And I still have to check his passport to make sure I get his birthday right...
I have a box of cards for all occasions indoors as I know how rubbish I am at this sort of thing. My mum and two siblings all have birthdays within a week of each other, so each years I send everything on the same day a week before. I couldn't tell you who was born on which day without checking.
Likewise I don't care if people remember mine:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
I'm not one for getaways and neither is he just nice to get acknowledgment as he has in past said happy anniversary. Perhaps it get stale after a while saying it0

My husband has never forgotten our anniversary and neither have I. I really don't understand how hard it is to write it down if you can't remember without that.
OP - anniversary of what?
Always have cards in or when I can't make one of for non-predictable things.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I won't let OH forget our anniversary!! It does mean that I'm mentioning it at least once a week for the 2 months prior with a 'what are we doing?', but never mind!!
I can rhyme off all his girls DOBs no bother, yet he can't! So can't really say much when he can't remember mine! Again, it's a weekly reminder for the 2 months prior!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0
