quidco /tcb newby !
Ok seen this around but know nothing about it & after listening to some horror stories can somebody please explain how it works ?
How do you get paid ?
When do you get paid if using it on a 12month sim only contract ?
Is there any difference between Quidco or TCB are they both good/bad ?
Almost seems to good to be true !

I've used both for some years now and generally got paid with little or no problems. Cashback isn't guaranteed as some companies will try and get out of paying if you don't follow the process to the letter.
The main one I had problems with was Orange where it took over 6 months to get the cashback. Initially it was declined for no reason and then I discovered through this site that a number of people had also been declined on the same promotion at virtually the same time. A TCB rep saw the negative posts and took the problem on board and eventually the £50 cashback was paid.
As far as payment goes it can be paid into your bank account, paypal account or in bonus points/credits to specific companies. These are detailed on both TSB and Quidco.
With reference to your 12 month sim only contract, payment details can be found in the small print of the deal. I've copied and pasted one relating to a 12 month sim only deal with Orange from the TCB site below

Expect transactions for this retailer to appear the following day, but can be a few weeks in some cases. Transactions are usually confirmed within a month. They should become payable 30 - 60 days after the event date, unless otherwise indicated on the Avg Payment Speed statistics above. Recurrences may be limited.

Basically you need to read the small print to ensure you know what to expect. Also, if you go in and out of the web pages while deciding what to do the link following your progress will be lost and cashback will not be forthcoming. It is essential that you click on the link in TCB or Quidco that takes you to the retailer and you process your order in one go. Don't start switching to other web pages or changing things around. If in doubt, cancel what you are doing and go back to the the cashback site and start from scratch.
What have you got to lose by not signing up. If you deal direct with Orange you will pay £x per month for 12 months. If you go via TCB or Quidco you will pay the same £x per month and more than likely get some cash for simply going via their site.
Hope this helps.0 -
