Anyone having trouble with Natwest website? Hacked?

Just tried to log onto my online banking. It said I put in the incorrect details and my account had been locked (after one try... you usually get at least another go)
It first asked for my name, DOB, email address and postcode. I put those in.
The next page asked for my account number, sort code, card number and card security code. I did NOT put those in... I see no reason for Natwest to need those details to allow me access.
Is this legitimate? I am on the usual NWOLB . COM site.

No its not legitimate, you have probably got a virus on your computer that has performed a DNS hijack and is sending request to a different server when you go to nwolb.com rather than Natwest.
Do you have antivirus on your computer?0 -
I have a macbook and havent bothered with antivirus up til now... Will do a scan or something
Thanks!
Oh just realised it happened on my iphone firstwhich has not been connected to my computer for a long time. I did try it on my computer afterwards but the initial thing happened on my iphone.

I have just logged in fine and as normal. As suggested I think you have a Virus. No genuine bank will ever ask you such details. Hope you get it sorted and thankfully you were suspect of the fake log in process.Iva started Dec 2018.0

Blah. What virus would affect both my iphone and computer? As far as I know they are not linked by the cloud or anything. I don't even update it through itunes etc.0

Something could have changed in your router settings but its unlikely. Do you know how to check the DNS settings?0 -
Normally you get 3 attempts so failing on first go is suspicious:
- Has someone at home attempted to log onto the NWOLB site?
- Or perhaps someone elsewhere has attempted to guess your code and failed 3 times in succession.
I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
I definitely only had one go, I've never been locked out like this before and quite often put it in wrong on my phone
Ill try it at work on the work computer/network and if I get the same thing ill just try it0 -
I always get locked out of my Natwest online as I always forget my password but normally they ask for you D.O.B etc and everything you have said above, they then ask for your account number and sort code (not your card details) and the for your security questions.
If it is asking for your card information there is probably something wrong so ring up but if its just account number and sort code thats normal.0 -

Yes it is legit - you've gone to account reactivation
On log in page click the link "Forgotten any of your log in details?"
In the pop up window click the link "Answer a few simple questions to re-activate your online banking"
1st page asks for name, dob - select type of debit card
2nd page - sort code, account number, card number, card security number.
Anyone can enter any random info on the 1st page.0 -

If you quite often get it wrong it's probbaly raised the banks suspision.
Perhaps they've set your retry attempts to 0 for having too many failed logins.0
