That's OK I've had abusive PM's so I disabled it. Anything that anyone has to say to me personally can be said to me on open forum.

They might try and settle out of court...probably in the foyer of the court before you get before a judge so be prepared for that too.

Yes iv heard of that happening, or a telephone call first thing.
Im a little scared of how to react to that.
I kind of a think that if they are willing to offer me half the money on the steps, then they are scared of loosing, so I should hold out, go in2 the court & go for it ALL :rotfl:

Sorry you've experienced abusive PM's... defo.. NO NEED...

I've always been extremely thank full for the information I've been given or gathered off here, via PM or on threads so thats such a shame. :(

To be honest I know that the airlines read these forums so wouldn't want to put my personal details on here, hence why I said to PM you.... but no probs. thanks

I've attended many courts, both personally in a very messy divorce and professionally in my line of work. I am not a lawyer, i have no legal background, but i do my homework. and yes i get nervous. When that happens, I just imagine the person I am up against is sat on the toilet - such a thought immediately makes you feel superior and hence increases your confidence. It's a simple trick that works!. Don't be afraid of court (if it actually goes, which I doubt). Have confidence in your own ability and do your research before hand, and you will be fine. Good luck!

Well I read something about submitting "Productions" which I think are the documents 14 days before so im !!!!ed I think.

I kept phoning the court to ask if they had defended & the lady kept saying not to do anything until the monday after there deadline which is tomorrow the 5th.

Im going to look a fool in court aren't I.
All iv submitted was the original 01b Small Claim form & The Particulars of the claim.
Thats basically it to be honest.
I dont know what else to say......:(

Did they defend or have you got a nice default judgment in your favour?

Unless you get an abrasive, verbose legal representative on the other side, who brings along some "expert" witness chums.

Thomson's defended in plenty of time. The deadline was 5pm last night. when i phoned today 2 ask if Monarch defended she said yes so i asked what time yesterday as they hadnt defended when i phoned yesterday morning. she said they sent an email yesterday but that doesnt count & theyve written this morning. i said well this morning is 2 late so she put me on hold & when she came back she said yes today is 2 late but they will allow them in court & then its up 2 the judge if he allows it 1 day late or not. (Im guessing he probably will, but who am i 2 know)

Most will some won't - up to you to point out both prior to hearing and at court.
