Looking for some help here, joined Avanti Gas this summer on a 2 year contract and then the problems began. The information that we were told with regards to how to operate our a/c were false. We partly changed to then for the fair price on offer but just as importantly so that we could operate an online a/c for ordering and payments. We own our own business and it is rare for us to be around during office hours. Furthermore we were informed that we would pay for our fuel up front and any over payment would be credited on our next fill but this would also be a guess as to the required amount. To this day knowbody can tell us if we will get back the interest on any overpayment as we are often 6 months between fills.
So far there have been numerous phone calls, they do not have my name on the a/c even though they have been asked to rectify this repeatedly. They cannot tell us anything about interest on our money and the worst is because we do not want their credit agreement we will not be able to use the online facility! At present we have an outstanding bill for the first years tank rental as this was in the red for us the moment it was generated as that then became the due date!
The easy answer would be for us to go through the credit application but due to their incompetence over the last few weeks this is the last thing I want to do. We have had enough and wish to move to another company as we were sold this contract under false pretences in our opinion. Each person you speak to tells you what they think you want to hear. Has anyone else had problems with this company At present a manager is looking into this as so far the complaints department has not resolved the situation.
At present we have not paid the years tank rental, we have not ordered any gas. I would be happy to pay any small amount outstanding but I wish to cancel the contact as this was not what we agreed to. Any help much appreciated

not sure if it's any help but when I had a problem, I dealt with a guy called Anthony Bagshaw who has the rather bizarre job title of 'complaints coordinator'!!
