I got charged a £100 to have one put in a few years back, but then the plumber who did it had to contend with poured concrete walls. I can't tell you how many diamond drill bits he went through, the air was positively blue!

Indeed she is/was :D One very happy piq here:D The boys are back in town:T

The boys arrived last Wednesday afternoon, both went straight to bed as I couldn't be doing with chasing them around a strange field trying to round them up for the evening. Both of them are very happy, probably more to do with the fact that they are still together rather than I'm back in the equation :rotfl:Although the Captain is very affectionate towards me and gets jealous if I spend more than five minutes with Noah!

They've been out grazing in their newly sectioned field and so far have been very good about coming back in for the night. I know the Captain will tell me in no uncertain terms when he's ready to stay out all night, hopefully, that will be when it's warm enough!

I did seriously under-estimate how much work was involved in looking after two horses, one cat and working :o Boy, have I been tired! It may be to do with the fact that for the first few nights (four :o) I went down to their yard to see if they were okay at three in the morning :o Needless to say, they were and very happy to see me or the carrot, not sure which.....Not to be outdone felt that he should have a snack too if I was getting up. That cat is going to get stuck in the catflap one day....

So I have been absent due to there not being enough hours in the day (or night) :rotfl:I'm back working evenings this week so will bring them in before I go to work and pop in on the way home just to check they're okay.

It's so good to have them home, it's so worth it. As I get used to the physical side of things I'll be less tired so it will be easier.

The boys bought me a giant L1ndt chocolate carrot and have very generously had their rugs cleaned as well as bought a supply of wormers, supplements and hay, meaning I will have less expenditure than I had budgeted for, happy days :D

£150 for two taps? Wow, sounds like he didn't give you a second tap discount! Mine - singular - cost £63 three years ago; I was told he charged more than most would, but also guaranteed his work.

Morning mcculloch  how are you?

I have a small out of the way area in the garden where I can store stuff that potentially is an eyesore, it's also convenient for a tap to reach the other side of the garden, meant a bit more work but it was worth it. Well, it will be when I get round to buying a hose pipe:rotfl:

Hi Piq, that is the very best of news, it must be so wonderful having The Captain home along with his BF Noah. Hopefully you will feel less tired as things settle down and you build up horse looking after muscles as well:j:j:j:j:j You might have to look for some low calorie treats for Colin, or see if there is such a thing as a cat flap extension.
