TTFTM hope all goes as well as possible today.I've just got a couple of things to do here then I'm taking myself out for coffee and cake
I even arranged a time with myself
Mr tru has had a phone upgrade so I've inherited his Galaxy S4. Give me a broken computer and I'll fix it, give me a working phone and I have no idea what I'm doing
I'm going to test it today, by taking a pic of my coffee and posting it to FB
I'll probably get it wrong so anyone who's friends with me, please ignore any blank posts or photos of my foot or something :rotfl:
My bolt is still in so still wired up. Im craving fruit and veg - hospital food is dreadful.
Do you have to wait for the bolt to be removed before they let you out? (Gods, it sounds like prison, doesn't it?:D) Strength and patience, my friend; every day is a day closer to [STRIKE]parole[/STRIKE] going home.;)
RosyRed Lyla is absolutely beautiful; what a sweet little face. I bet she's going to be great fun.:TIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Rosy, she's beautiful.
Molly, glad you got a bit of peace, hopefully you'll be out soon & back to your dogs.
I have to say that the food in Royal Berks hosp was good, unfortunately it was usually placed out of my reach.
I went through my wardrobe yesterday, I have a huge bagful of clothes to go to the CS as soon as I'm able. All that remains in my wardrobe now is one summer dress, one winter dress and one 'going out dress, I'm hoping to visit the local CS at some point to buy some new clothes, but in the mean time I ordered a dress from Bon Marche for £10. What I really need is a couple of pinafore dresses, but they aren't in fashion anymore and I don't feel up to dressmaking. Oh & I'm not getting rid of stuff because I've lost weight, but because I cannot wear skirts or trousers any more.
Next job, load the DW, onwards & upwards.

NEWSFLASH
MY 2 HUGELY OVERFLOWING BASKETS OF IRONING ARE NOW OFFICIALLY EMPTY, INCLUDING THE BEDDING!
:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Just the holiday stuff to do, will have a break to pop to the shops for more hangers as I have dumped all the old ones in favour of slimline non-slip ones, then do my uniforms and sort out what holiday clothes I am taking..............RIP Iain

Hi everyone
TTFTM - Thinking of you
ROSIE - she's beautiful
JOOLS - Well done on clearing Mount Ironmore
MOLLY - Glad you had A better night
Thought I had better pop in and report. All washing now done, last two loads on the line. Ironing organised to be done before my ironer goes on holiday. Yes I know not MS, but I would rather cut back anywhere else than iron! Can think of far better things to do with my time.
Today we have been having a bit of a tidy up and sort out, moved Skye's cage out into the conservatory instead of it getting under my feet in the "office" (Junk Room), put something's away where they belong. I think we need to put the cage away now, she is very good and has never chewed. Sorted out the unit which used to hold Lp's. it had all the wii stuff in, but was behind a chair so was Ok, now on view, so put wii stuff at the back and books at the front.. DH was helping, but he gets so mad with himself if things are not square or stack easily :rotfl::rotfl:. Now some spare space in the book case for more WW1 books I presume! Mine are read and go type. I have gone through my X-stitch books to find some patters for lettering, DSF wants real napkins for the top table with names on, so I have the job. Now I have them it will be a task for Spain. Then we have sorted the plastic container cupboard in the kitchen, which was annoying DH. We had some spare space in a very high cupboard, so sorted what I do not use very often to go up there, and now we have a tidy cupboard, until we start using it again. Just having a mo and a coffee, then will go back into the office and do what is annoying me in there - now I can move because the cage is out.
I have also been investigating solar panels. Not totally sure I am convinced.
((Hugs)), Spoons, positive Vibes all round. Take care everyone. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
PM me your address & I will drop our basket of doom off on Friday night on our way to Kirkcaldy for the in-laws diamond wedding luncheon!
erm......no thanks! Non slip hangers eventually hunted down, B&M had none left, 10 for £2.99 in £stretchers so have bought another 20 just now! Uniforms in and ironed, rest of washing still a bit damp for ironing, have decided I have done enough today, so holiday wardrobe sorting and ironing tomorrow!RIP Iain

It's been a nice afternoon so inspired by your examples I set up the board and ironed in the garden - I've never done the ironing straight off the line before. Halo well and truly shining!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

I took my bedding to mums earlier to dry on her line, as you can't stretch king size duvet covers out on my whirly, its not big enough. Brother has just delivered my dry bedding , all still warm from being ironed......mum, you're a star!:T
Bed now remade with the fresh from the line sheets, so ironing basket still empty, and most of the stuff on the whirly belongs to DS- I don't iron for him or his sister unless its a special outfit like for an interview, funeral, wedding etc............oh joy, couldn't say when the basket was totally empty the last time..........should I be embarrassed to admit that???RIP Iain

Rosy she is a cutie
Jools I hate the dreaded ironing as well but I no longer do much, DD has taken over because my hands are so dodgy at the moment and I kept dropping the iron on my hands and arms.
Had to pop back to town this afternoon because I went into Wilko's on the way home from the doctors and they had a really nice barbecue reduced from £30 to £10, even though my old one is still going ....just , I decided to have a new one for next year.
DH took me down just as the market was packing up and I got 2 punnets of strawberries, 2 punnets of grapes, 2lb cherries and a bowl of bananas for the grand total of £3.50 :j
Tonight I have got to do my meal plan for next week and a shopping list because we do our main shop on a Thursday. I think that it is going to be quite a small shop judging by the freezers and cupboardsBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
