Morning all, hugs to those that need them.

I have a funeral first thing this morning, an extended family members mum but felt I should show my respects at a very small funeral.

Happier times to come this afternoon when I plan to play on the beach with a couple of toddlers and their mum, weather due to break here on Friday, just when we plan to go away with the caravan!!

Tea all planned then off for a cheap and cheerful monthly quiz tonight.

Good luck to those going back to school this week, I remember those times, blazers past the end of their fingers to grow into!

    Morning all,

TTFTM Thinking of you today. I know your going through an enormous amount of stress at work at the moment so (((hugs))) for you.

Molly I hope your ok and healing nicely.

Bargainbird thanks for the matchsticks. I'm hoping I don't need them today as ive caught up with my sleep I think even though Millie dog got me up at the crack of dawn to be let out.

News from me, well not much really. 'Youngest' is enrolling for college at 9am and then on to work he will go. I think he will miss having a 'proper' job and i'm sure he will miss the money. Still, his Dad has got work coming out of his ears at the moment so i'm sure he will have some weekend work passed his way.

Usual jobs for me today though I am going to attempt moving the bed and what bedroom furniture I can move to vacuum under them. I'm also washing the pillows and duvet today as well as the bedding. That should keep me busy.

Pork chops for tea tonight I think. Ive got some cauliflower I want to use up.

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all,

Yesterday DH and I had lunch at Mumbles Head, with a lovely view of the lighthouse, then sat in the sun and listened to the waves. Today I am going to be 'good' so I have a lot of cleaning to do.

I started by sorting out a pile of clothes I have not worn since I changed all my hangers - February, and had a look at some of the old faithfuls. Some can go to recycling, some can go to the CS, and maybe I shall Ebay some.

Good luck to the tiddlers starting school - it's a big adventure!
    TTFTM - thinking of you,
Tru - it's called tough love and you are doing them a big favour by teaching them about real life. (I used to hide my clean mug & plate so the non-washers couldn't find and use them).

Hugs all round and have the best day you can x
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

    Hello x
Much better night as they knocked the lady next to me out with some nice drugs. Im all in favour of sedation - I asked for me but they gave it to her instead:( She was coming off coco cola and fags as she had run out and added to her other issues she was shouting and swearing. Anyhow I hope I dont have to be a witness in an abduction or murder case - I told the nurse what I had overheard and it was very distressing. Really life is like the movies and I thought I had seen it and done it working as a midwife:eek:

My bolt is still in so still wired up. Im craving fruit and veg - hospital food is dreadful.

Thank you for continuing to think about me x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Morning all.

Normally just read and not post, but wanted to wish Time to face the music all the best for today x

Bright and sunny here today., washing is done and on the line, I hope that it dries better than yesterday, it was till damp when I brought it in last night.

Schools here are not back until tomorrow what a stupid day to start back.

Waiting for DS to get my scooter out because I have a doctors appointment at 11am.

    BFN x

    Morning all,

Hugs for those who are fed up or poorly and thinking particularly of ttftm today, hope it goes ok x
Have my brother and his wife for tea tonight so I'm going to do chicken wrapped in bacon with mash and veg and some kind of gravy.
Pudding will be the Victoria sponge I made last night.
I'm off upstairs shortly to finish my brothers room as he arrives on Friday lunchtime from Australia.
My DGS Oscar started school this morning so hope he is doing ok.
Really trying hard with healthy eating. I've cleared out all the chocolate sweets etc and I've hung a pair of jeans out that I want to get into.
Hubby has a full days work today thank goodness.
Have a great day all x

    Morning,

Good luck vibes to TTFTM for today.
Molly glad you had a better nights sleep.
Ok I've done a photo thingy for Lyla so hope it works- I'm new to stuff like this.DH has popped home while waiting for some plaster to go off,and decided to move all the leaves and twigs from the paths round the house as Lyla is trying to eat them. We're not letting her in the garden as such, just on the paths for now.The garden hoover thing is quite noisy so she's hiding under my feet as I type. She had 2 visitors yesterday and another one due later :)
