how will my HB be effected if son takes on apprentiship

    The rules are different for child benefit and child tax credits. It will depend on the kind of apprenticeship that he takes on.

    You will need to inform all benefits departments about the change of circumstances so child benefit, tax credits, and the council.

    Make sure you know exactly the kind of apprenticeship that your son is doing.

    Thanks, well it was all benefits I'm wondering about. I'll have to see if he can get an apprentiship and take it from there.
