Donner - you are so right - last Sunday I refused alcoholic drinks in the pub
then had a chinese take away - the first in months (OH paid as he had money in from a job) the meal was truly scrumptious but later after copious amounts of water i felt really terrible and 'hung over'
Tonight I was on an interview panel for charity volunteers and was given my meal - posh M&S wraps - water/green tea and ...wait for it.... a chunky Kit Kat!!! It would have been rude to refuse!!:rotfl:
This awful weather we are having really makes me want to eat though! Plans for salad seem rather optimistic here up north!

runs to loo.......again............
nice cordial I've found in Sainsbury today. Rhubarb and Ginger. Only takes a splash. It's one of their Taste the Difference ones but doesn't need much in the glass."Stay Wonky":D

that's no good weller. Are you drinking tons more water than usual? This happened to me once when I briefly flirted with the atkins diet, I lasted a week on that, I got so saturated with protein I just couldn't face eating at all. The thought of more meat made me feel sick. But did I wee, I must have gone to the loo 30 times a day.
No I'm not drinking much more than usual, just drinking it instead of coke (a big downfall of mine) and I think I'm eating ok, don't feel hungry, having creale, luch, tea and Muller rice if I feel a bit peckish. But my tummy feel softer than usual if that makes sense. I don't know what the hell is happening.....................0 -

Toto, seriously, I need a kick up the backside.....:(
While I was pregnant I didn't have to diet at all, I was eating exactly what I wanted, because the 'stomach wedged up inside ribcage' effect was naturally decreasing my food intake, and I only put on 6lbs through my whole pregnancy. So I'm really out of the habit of watching what I eat.
I'm going to stay good this weekend though, I promise - if anyone sees me anywhere near a bar of chocolate, please give me a slap."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Gotta admit though - having a Asda pizza tonight, ham and mushroom and thin crust, Its our usual Friday night tea and my mouths watering as its in the oven now.......................0

The question is though snaggles are you gaining weight? You are breastfeeding and you do need to eat plenty, you know that. If you're still not gaining then you shouldn't worry too much. I do try to bulk out my meals with veg and I make myself eat the veg first before I eat the good bits, so if anything gets left it isn't the low calorie stuff.
Another thing I do, if I'm having pudding after my dinner, I put the pudding in front of me while I eat. usually after half of the plate I want pudding so I leave more. If I didn't do that I would eat my entire dinner then try to cram the pudding in too.:A
