UK Protect

Anybody had dealings with a company called UK Protect Ltd based in Dorchester? They claim to be official Sky equipment insurers but an internet search brought up no details and the Sky web site makes no mention of them.

They have taken payment of 79.99 from my bank account but to my knowledge I have never heard of them.

Would be intersted in other people's experiences.

    If a DD, get your bank to recall it. They usually call by phone and are given the details.

    They are nothing to do with Sky.

    Yu must have given them your bank details recently.

    You will be lucky to get it back to be honest because of that;

    The only 'official' scheme is from Domestic and General.

    All the rest are probably scammers.

    How do you suppose they've got your Bank details then?

    I was not endorsing it, and certainly would not take it out.

    I had a call recently re Sky Protect -they told me that I was coming to the end of my "free" contract -seemed quite put out when I said "not interested ...and by the way,Ive been with Sky for more than 5 years!!" - suspect that it WASN'T Dom & Gen. but another set of chancers.

    As others have said, who have you given your bank card details to recently?

    If you are positive you haven't given out your bank card details, then contact your own bank and tell them that money has been fraudulently taken from your bank.
