Advice for best broadband deal.

Hello,
I am looking at changing my broadband provider - very poor value at the moment.
I have had a good look through this forum but the wealth of information is a little overwhelming.
I was just wondering whether any experts out there could offer any advice.
Ultimately, I want unlimited download usage (truly unlimited), though I am not particularly bothered about speed - fibre optic thus not needed. I also never use the land line for phone calls, so any deal where I don't have to pay for this would be even better.
The real killer seems to be the line rental.
Is it cheaper to get both line rental and broadband together or not necessarily?
This looks like a very good deal -

Works out to be £14.00 per month if I pay the £10.00 per month upfront.
Is this the best deal I am likely to get or are there any other options that might ber worth considering?
Many thanks in advance.

Pretty sure that's an affiliate link which earns the affiliate commission. Why couldn't you just use this link? Seems to be cheaper as well (plus they seem to give you what the affiliate would earn as a credit on your bill). Hmmmm...

Hi there,
Thanks for that - unfortunately, a bit more digging around has found that internet usage for this company is fair usage, so that is out.
I am beginning to think that separate line rental and internet might be the best option:

Based upon this, I can have line rental for £10.00 and then try and find a cheap broadband only deal to go with it.0 -
Yes, but the only problem is you will generally pay more for broadband from companies if you don't also take phone line from them so sometimes it can be a false economy.0
